Message:: I have recently searched harar on google map,i found some strange & outdatete names of local places.
Starting from erer gate to other error gates, like sanga gate,showa gate, buda gate & fallana gate. Also u can found misrak arbgnoch hospital, ras mekonen school, christian market & oromo market.
My question is why harari reginal state kept silent when google names our city like this? They should do something about this, especially harari culture & tourism bureau. Thanx

Message:: Huri from Harar:the breacking news from Harar.Today on 4/13/2011 one of the official of Harar Municipality was shot by to brothers in front of the police station in Feres megala on 6 pm.These guys repeatedly thretening the official for illegal land holding and when refused they tried to hit the official named Hashim IDris.Ut was reported that yesterday night they came to his house with guns and try to shoot some bullets.Although it was reported to the police by the municipality through formal letter,the police hardly take any action exceprt detaining the gungsters for temporal time.And as soon as they released by the police they tried to kill him in public place -feresmegalla.It was very disasterous merder attempt.Now he is in comma.These guyes hit police officer named yahya inside the police station but no not enjailed for such acrime.The police commisioner ,Bekri who is inefficient hardly keep peace and order in the region.Just becouse he is one of the close friends of the Presedant Murad Abdulhad he can maintain his post.May be he steps down with the presedent.THe critical problem in Harari Region is that the appoint usually be made not by merit or efficiency-educational quaification and performance.Rather most of the time his excellency appoint his close relatives and friends in key position irrespective of their work performance.First of all how about he.But how long we are suffering from lack of good governance and rule of law.

Message:: Mr. Hashime Idris passed today April 15 after getting shot by an Oromian men, most hararian in daily danger specialy the one that works for the goverment 2011. His body is moved to Minlik hospital for autopsy and later today will be taken to Harar for burial. It is tragic and huge loss for the Hararis
